Editing Advertisment picture

November -

I decided that i wanted to edit the picture i took of charlotte as I wanted my advert to look different and quirky.

I did this by changing the colour slightly. What I did was i brightened her face to draw the viewers eye to her face. I then made her eyes a peircing blue colour to give it an unuasual and unreal look.

I then thought I still wanted more editing on her picture so i then decided to do a bright pink strip going down the left hand side of her face. I did this as i wanted to even more make the picture look different and edited.

Today I got the pictures I took of charlotte to go on my magazine advert as this was the last thing I needed to do before i could finish my minor task.

Tuesday 22nd September:
Today I uploaded our picture onto the computer and started editing it, I made the background behind the tree a bit lighter and made the tree darker with a red tint. There were originally people in the background and I edited them out, I did this by using the clone stamp tool.

Saturday 19th September:
After taking some pictures at school, I realised that we needed a wider landscape to take a picture. So we went to Guildford and found the perfect landscape here.

Today I took a picture for my front cover. I decided that we wanted a scenery picture so we experimented with lots of views, we wanted this as we like 'The Killers' Album cover which I looked at below. So this is where I got my idea from for my album cover. We took quite a few of Alec and I but we then decided that we wanted a bigger landscape picture so we will need to find the right landscape to take this picture.

Today I looked on Wikipedia to look at some album covers to give me ideas for what I would want as my music album cover. I picked ‘Pussycat Dolls’, ‘Leona Lewis’ and ‘The Killers’ as ideas as I like their album covers as they link nicely into what I would want my album cover to look like.

Reasons for Picking the Brief

Friday 10th July:
After thinking about my minor tasks, I realised, even though I have made websites before in I.C.T, I wanted to change my mind and do a magazine advertisement for the DVD. I wanted to change as we recently did a magazine.
Firstly I looked at other advertisements for bands in magazines.

The changes I am going to make on this post are, I am going to talk more about why I chose this breif.

Monday 29th June:
After looking at the minor tasks, my first idea was to do a website homepage for the band. I thought I could have images of the band, quotes from each member of the band and up coming events they will be attending.
